About Auto Drive Tips

Auto Drive Tips is a practical automotive and transport publication. We cover car driving, vehicle rentals, vans, truck driving, commercial trucks (pantech and tipper), bus and coach transport, vehicle maintenance, fleet management, road trips, and the future of mobility – for drivers, owner-operators, fleet managers, and transport businesses worldwide.

What we are, and aren’t

We are drivers, mechanics, fleet operators, and journalists who write about what we know. Contributors include CDL Class A holders with 20+ years on the road, ASE-certified master technicians, fleet operations managers, and certified driving instructors. We are not a replacement for certified driving instruction, qualified mechanic inspection, or local traffic-law verification. Articles inform your decisions; for licensing, repairs, or anything safety-critical, work with qualified professionals.

Our priorities, in order

  1. Safety first. If a technique saves time or money but raises risk, we say so.
  2. Honest about regional differences. Traffic laws, licensing, and vehicle regulations vary by country and state. We flag where guidance is jurisdiction-specific.
  3. Realistic about cost and effort. Truck maintenance, fleet management, and commercial transport involve real money. We name realistic numbers.
  4. Source-cited. Claims about regulations, fuel economy, or technical specifications link to authoritative sources (DOT, FMCSA, DVSA, NTC, ATA).
  5. Updates. Rules and pricing change. Articles are dated and revised when material changes occur.

What we cover

Editorial independence

We accept advertising (Google AdSense) and use affiliate links for vehicle insurance comparisons, rental platforms, parts retailers, and pro-driver gear. Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial conclusions. See our disclaimer and editorial policy.
